The Full Story

Hui O Kamaleinani Hula Studio was established in 1976 by Kamalei Sataraka and Gloria Snyder with the philosophy that anyone can learn and dance hula, just as anyone can educate themselves in the place they call home or the place they travel to. We teach haumana (students) from ages 3 to 103 years old, welcoming learners from all over the world. Recently, we have had students from Japan, Korea, Canada, and across Europe, all united by their love for hula and Polynesian dance.
